The Condors are a 6-member group covering 60s and 70s soul, blues, and rock artists including The Temptations, James Brown, Wilson Pickett, Eddie Floyd, KC & the Sunshine Band, Joe Cocker, Chicago, BB King, The Stones, Van Morrison, and many others. In the late 1960s the Condors started as the only soul band playing teen clubs in Montgomery and Northern Prince George's Counties, MD. When we joined Washington Talent Agency the gigs increased, and openings for national acts became a norm. In the mid 70s, due to the draft, college, employment, love affairs and generally growing up, the band ceased to exist. For decades the remaining members and fans remembered the good times. So, in 2021 we decided we were "Gettin' the band back together!" We still have that sound and we're ready to put your feet on the dance floor and a smile on your face! |
